Kayak to Price: Will It Fly?

It’s a tricky time to be Kayak, now in the midst of its pre-IPO roadshow. Kayak’s deal, expected to price this week, values the travel metasearch company at nearly $1 billion. We’ve been pretty positive about Kayak, and have thought less of the threat from Google than some other analysts. If all goes as planned, Kayak will begin trading Friday on NASDAQ (KYAK).
