The hype around wearables was at its peak when I wrote my last article Wearables: Their Time Has Come in June 2015. Over the last 18 months reality has set in and a clearer picture has emerged of the role wearables are playing in our life today and how they fit in the travel experience in the immediate and mid-term future.
